This Piece was conceived and created to hear my Sculptures. It was bumbling around my head for a while so getting it out and made is super fun, and the first of many, that make it possible to hear my art!. An acoustical box. Blending Sculpture and painting and seeing what happens. Line, form, color, texture, details, feel. Tentacles are sound fingers to fling and flicker making art alive in movement and sound!

This Piece came together from a 36 inch square aluminum drop off slice from another project. Bending it up its been waiting for other raw materials to transform into something beautiful. Going with the square theme instead of curvaceous as I normally do. I found a chunk of aluminum I cut up and cleaned. I laminated up a colored Acrylic Kernel, sanded it square & topped off my sculpture. Soldering solid and textured aluminum Wings was a feat. It is a Stable Sculpture not a Sonic or Mobile so it just sits there looking beautiful.

This is another Static curio Sculpture I made for fun.
“A piece of wood doesn’t care whether it is in a bridge or a sculpture.
